I’ve been working on business cards for CollegeConfessional and realized with the New Year here, the cards could make a nice little marketing device. If anyone wants one tagged on his or her myspace , email confessitall@collegeconfessional.net

Happy and Healthy New Year!!

Somehow I managed to SNAFU my blog yesterday. Did a particularly good job of it.
After a lot of frustrated FTP swap around, faking headers, and SQL surgery with a chainsaw, my blog has a happy new home (though I sincerely hope no one noticed too much, despite the messiness of the process I think things went fairly smoothly if seen from the street).
My blog’s moved from http://blog.marcwiesner.com to http://blog.marcwiesner.com. I’d encourage everyone to make a note of it but I’ve hopefully got the redirects set up smoothly enough that all requests to the old side will slide on over to the new one.
Only concern is with the RSS feed but I can worry about that after the presentation that’s part of my midterm in Chinese III (only 12 lines, it’s a cinch).
Later, All

Here’s a short and sweet one to promote my buddy Denis’s TargetCulture blog. We had a good time brainstorming yesterday on layout, design, and colors and came up with something pretty snazzy, I think. And it doesn’t have those red bricks anymore; that’s an automatic plus.

Frank’s recently introduced me to a blog perspective that I hadn’t been exposed to before, blogs by homeless Americans. These blogs show, in great and stunning detail, the frustrations and trial that one is faced with when they’re, for the most part, living on the compassion of others.
The two blogs that I’ve been readin (and fascinated with) are View from the Sidewalk by Michael Brown and The Homeless Guy by Kevin Barbieux. If you’re someone who thinks that opportunity is available to anyone willing to put in enough effort, you should certainly take a gander.

What a great site I found! Especially for bloggers. Check out McKnight’s Steal These Buttons site, it’s got more than 3,000 80×15 buttons for blogs. I’ve added some to the META section of my sidebar and was even inspired to create my own!

Oh it sucks so much. Now I’m pretty good with computers. None the less, it took me 9 hours to fix Microsoft after it dripped into a well while I was trying to get Activesync to work over Bluetooth. Gates, when you say somthing fucking works in your peice of shit products why you don’t make sure it fucking works or wait ’till the next release, ok? Remember when Bill Gates was trying to show off plug-and-play at the unvailing of Windows 98 and it crashed on him when he plugged in a scanner? I would have liked to see him on that stage spending 9 hourse trying to fix it. ‘Cause that’s what I did this afternoon. AAAAH!
