Sounds like our neighbors are having quite the rager over there. Singing, screaming, chanting. We need insulated windows.
I’m working on setting up a photoblog. It’s still in development but for now it’s set up here. I figure I’m bad enough the PotD thing, I’ll give this a shot
Update: Holy crap they’re loud….I know exactly what song they’re trying to sing and they’re three or four houses down AND across the street!

My crappy random number: 95489548
Random numbers shouldn’t repeat themselves, should they?
Oh well….cost me a lot less than the $900 device that inspired me to try my hand at random number generation. Anyone want to buy the number? It’ll cost a lot less than $900 and it’s a lot more interesting than whatever they come up with. Look….it’s even dividable by two ^_^ It’s like two for the price of one!
Okay…..back to studying

After spending hours staring at ISO noise and massaging it out of pictures, all I see when I close my eyes is noise blossoming into pebbles in an imperfect darkness.

Got a late start today…my phone shut off randomly (as it’s been prone to since falling out of my hand on to the street after my bump with a truck) this morning and I slept through an alarm. I left the house fifteen minutes late and noticed the lack of automotive traffic as remarkable. I started to think about how many of those cars I see moving hither and wither are my fellow students on their way home or to class. I wonder if any of them recognize me from their capsules of steel and glass.

You must have noticed that every place that sells calendars has sales on those calendars before the end of January. Every year. Print, sell, sale. Shouldn’t this be an indication that they’re printing too many calendars? Who decided how many to print and why don’t they learn that they don’t need more?
Where do old calendars go when they die?
The don’t go to shelves or get read by the eye.
They go to a rack and there they lie,
Put them on sale when New Years goes by.

When we chat and we’re talking out of our asses we use IMHO (in my humble opinion) but when we have to be academic and must avoid the first person particle “I” we get to use phrases like “it should be noted” to mean “I’m saying this.” Why don’t we class up IMing a bit? ISBN that new phrases are fun to use and expanding vocabularies never hurt anyone

Can you imagine what a “holy shit” moment it was for the first guy who found out that parrots could talk. Just think there’s this guy with a hut and wife, out climbing some tree to pick bananas like he always does. He yells down to his son, like he always does, that he’s about to throw down a bunch and all of a sudden this bright-ass green bird yells right back at him.
Whoa boy, what a trip.
